RMR Asia Real Estate Fund is a closed-end mutual fund that invests primarily in the securities of Asian real estate companies. The Fund’s initial public offering was in May 2007 and the Fund’s common shares are traded on the American Stock Exchange under the ticker “RAF”.
The investment objective is capital appreciation.
Generally, in normal market conditions, we expect that at least 80% of our managed assets will be invested in common stock or other equity securities of Asian real estate companies.
