Richard Nott

Richard Nott is the former General Manager and Chief Executive of CGU Lenders Mortgage Insurance Ltd; General Manager Corporate Banking at Standard Chartered Bank Australia Ltd and General Manger Banking and Associate Director at Australian Bank. In addition, he had a twenty six year career with National Australia Bank throughout Australia and England. He was for some years a Director of Prime Insurance group, a Bermudan based Lenders’ Mortgage Insurer.
Richard has been the Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of First American Title Insurance Company of Australia Ltd since 2002. He is a Director of Four Hats Financial Services Pty Ltd, a venture capital company. In addition, Richard is the Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of First Mac B Limited, a part of the First Mac group, Australia’s largest privately owned securitiser of residential housing loans.
Qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Banking, and Masters Degrees in Business Administration, Commerce, Insurance and Risk Management. He is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, Chartered Insurance Institute (UK) and Chartered Institute of Bankers (UK), plus Accounting, Chartered Secretaries, and Management institutes.
For over a decade, Mr. Nott was President of the Australia-Britain Society and in recent years Chairman of the Australia-Britain Society Foundation. He is a member of the Cook Society and Fred Hollows Foundation.

John is currently the Chairman of Mortgage Guarantee Insurance Corporation Australia, the Australian subsidiary of the largest USA loan mortgage insurer, The Chairman and Member of the Audit, Governance & Risk Management Committee for The Australian Wine Society Co-operative Limited. He was the Australian General Manager for a Mezzanine finance company and was also the Head of Corporate Banking Australia at Standard Chartered Bank Australia Limited.
Qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master of Business Administration (AGSM) and a Master of Insurance and Risk Management (Deakin). In addition, he is a Certified Practicing Accountant. He is a Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries, a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Mutuals Institute.

Tan Kai Seng

Mr. Tan was Finance Director of Parkway Holdings Limited from 1988 to 2005 and was its Group Financial Controller from 1980 to 1988. Parkway Holdings Limited is a leading, fully integrated healthcare organisation in Asia, with one of the largest networks of hospitals and healthcare services in the region.
Prior to joining Parkway Holdings in 1980, Mr. Tan worked in the audit team with Price Waterhouse, Singapore for approximately five years and a further two years on an International Exchange Programme with Price Waterhouse, San Francisco.
Mr. Tan is also an Independent Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee member of IGB Corporation Berhad, a significant property investment and development company listed on Bursa Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia.

Eugene Lai

Mr Eugene Paul Lai Chin Look is a Partner at Southern Capital Group and brings with him a wealth of experience in law, investment banking, real estate and private equity. Mr Lai was previously the Managing Director and Senior Country Officer of Investment Banking at JP Morgan in Malaysia and Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Ascott Group Limited. He has also held the position of Partner at the Carlyle Group and Managing Director at Citigroup Singapore. Mr Lai began his career as an attorney in New York and in Singapore. He was awarded an LL.M from Harvard University and an LLB from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Norman Ip Ka Cheung

Mr Norman Ip Ka Cheung graduated with a B Sc (Econs) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore. Mr Ip has over 30 years of experience in auditing, accounting, treasury, investments and taxation. Currently, Mr Ip is an Advisor to the Straits Trading Company Limited, where he had served for 26 years prior to his retirement in 2009. At Straits Trading Company Limited, Mr Ip held the position of Executive Director, President and Group Chief Executive Officer from 2000 to 2009. The Straits Trading Company Limited Group is a listed company with diversified businesses in property, hospitality and metal and mineral resources.
Mr Ip is the Chairman of the Board of Malaysia Smelting Corporation Berhad (listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Exchange) and also serves on the board of Australia Oriental Minerals NL (a company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange). He is also a director of WBL Corporation Limited, United Engineers Limited and Great Eastern Holdings Limited. He is a Member of the Board of the Building and Construction Authority in Singapore.

George has developed an extensive business network in both Australia and China.
George is active in the Chinese financial sector. He is an advisor for a number of Chinese Government bodies and Government agencies. George Wang is the President of the Australia-China Finance & Investment Council. As the President of Australia-China Finance & Investment Council. In his role, George has been laying the foundation for the financial bridge between Australia and China for many years.

John Snowden

Mr Snowden has 24 years of experience in the investment industry. In his position as the Managing Director, Head of UBS Real Estate, Australia and NZ in UBS Global Asset Management (UBSGAM) which he held for 8 years, he grew the equities business from virtually zero to around $7 billion and subsequently grew FUM from zero to around $2 billion. In late 2005, Mr Snowden was approached by Warwick Negus, CEO of Colonial First State, to re-establish the Global Property Securities Business at Colonial First State Global Asset Management. During his time at Colonial, John and his team grew FUM from $3 billion to over $8 billion in late 2007 and profitability for the Global Property Securities business increased by over 300% during the time it was under John's management.
Mr Snowden holds a Bachleor in Laws from UNSW and a degree in Master of Laws from University of Sydney. Mr Snowden is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and has received several industry awards for his outstanding achievements including Morningstar Japan 2007 - Best Global Investment Fund Manager (for the Diam - Mizuho Group) and Money Magazine best of the Best 2006 Awards "Best Australian Property Securities Fund".

Nicholas McGrath

Nick heads the AIMS Real Estate Team in Asia and is the Chief Executive Officer of the SGX listed AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT.
Prior to joining MacarthurCook, Nick had more than eight years of experience in corporate finance and property funds management in Australia and Singapore with Allco Finance Group and two years of legal experience with Blake Dawson Waldron.
From January 2007 until the sale to Frasers Centrepoint Limited, Nick was Chief Executive Officer of Allco Commercial REIT and Managing Director of Allco (Singapore) Limited.
Nick holds a Bachelors degree in Business and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Technology in Sydney and has completed a graduate diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
